What a momentous moment it was to be part of
Miami Swim Week this July with
Flying Solo NYC. It was Avery's first time presenting on the runway and not one we would soon forget. Our collection had the opportunity to take center stage right in the heart of Miami - it was one for the books.
Taking place at the beautiful Pérez Art Museum Miami, we sent eight of our best looks down the golden runway. In the past two years, we've successfully launched two collections. This show included a mix of pieces from each collection plus a few new ones never seen before.
Here's an exclusive look into our show featuring some of your favourite Avery pieces.
We debuted three new looks at Miami Swim Week and this was one of them. Our first halter-style top made in a satin finish worn with its matching cheeky bottoms. Look out for this style in the coming year, it's made with gorgeous gold hardware and can be worn multiple ways.
Our
Liv Bikini in Maven was second to go down the runway. Making a splash with its two-tonal design, Liv has always been a style we've held dear to us. A perfect mix between feminine and edgy, this bikini speaks to the girl with a little badass in her.
Next was our most beloved
Mai Bikini in a new colour-way. Currently in mauve and
silver blue, at Miami Swim we debuted a beautiful new lilac colour that will undoubtedly get you excited for spring 2024. Watch out for this vibrant pale purple that will complement just about every skin tone.
One of the most exciting pieces we sent down the runway was our
Evvie Bikini. Not only did it get us featured in
Harper's Bazaar Vietnam but it was an original Avery design unveiled when we first launched. Made with edgy vegan leather straps, it's for the fashion-forward woman unafraid to make a statement.
Another exciting piece to see its debut in Miami is our very first one-piece swimsuit. Not yet available in stores or online, it materialized out of sheer popular demand. Since the beginning, we've gotten many requests for a one-piece suit. This one happens to have a daring low-back made in a luxe satin finish for that leather look that's so very Avery. Watch out for this one in Spring 2024.
Of course we had to include some pink in our eight-piece collection. Check out our Lola bikini in Blush having her Barbie moment right in beautiful Miami. Styled with bold strappy patent leather heels, it was giving femme fatale with a hint of glamour. Make sure you get yours to live out Barbie season in style.
The original Liv Bikini walked the runway in a never-seen-before way. Not only made for the small chested, our dreamy two-tonal bikini made a lasting impression by bringing out its fiery side. Never underestimate the power of a neutral-coloured bikini to make just as loud of a fashion statement.
Lastly, we finished our show with our
Lola Bikini in Charcoal. The vegan leather bikini that's grabbed the hearts of many with its luxuriously edgy design, Lola made such a lasting impression in Miami, it's now proudly featured in
Elle Spain and
Bazaar Vietnam. It's the high fashion bikini that's making its way to street style all around the world.
